Are you ready to take the next step toward becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse?

Completing the Vocational Nursing program entrance application can be a detailed process — but you don't have to do it alone!

Join us for one of our Vocational Nursing Application Assistance Days, where our dedicated team will be on-site to help you every step of the way.

During these sessions, we will offer:

One-on-one guidance to help you complete your application accurately and completely
Assistance with scanning and uploading required documents
Program information for Fall and Spring start dates
Opportunity to ask questions and ensure your application meets all admission requirements

What do I need before applying?: You must be admitted to TSTC, attend a mandatory VN Information Session, complete the ATI TEAS® Version 7, and complete the required prerequisite courses.
What prerequisites are required? -: BIOL 2401 A&P I or BIOL 2301 & 2101
BIOL 2402 A&P II or BIOL 2302 & 2102
HPRS 2302 Medical Terminology for Allied Health or equivalent
A&P I & II must be completed within the last 5 years.
Minimum grade of C is required in A&P I & II and Medical Terminology
What documents should I bring?: Driver's license or state-issued ID
Social Security card
CPR card — American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider ONLY
Proof of personal health insurance
Unofficial transcripts
ATI TEAS Version 7 scores
What immunizations do I need?: You will need current documentation for required immunizations, including TB, DPT, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Flu, and MMR. Some documentation must be signed/stamped by a physician or office. Additional vaccines may be required by clinical/practicum facilities.
What if I have questions about my vaccines or other application documents ?: Bring your vaccination records with you. We can review them with you and help you identify what documentation you may still need.
